Congratulations to Blair Davison one of our Dental Nurses on her success of being accepted into the Medical Corps of the Territorial Army. Blair will continue to work full time within the practice but will undertake rigorous weekly/weekend training and will attend an annual camp with the Army. Anyone joining the TA can expect to be mobilised for operational service within 5 years, to most people that would sound scary but not Blair as she is always looking for a new challenge. If deployed Blair would operate as a Dental Nurse working within the field hospital and help the medics where necessary. We are incredablity proud of Blair for this achievement and wish her success with it!

NR Dental Group would like to send our best wishes to Angela and Ralph Rowlands on the immanent arrival of their first baby. Angela has now stopped for maternity leave and is taking it easy in the lead up to parenthood. Angela will be returning to work part-time in February 2010 and will job share with our new dentist Mrs Furheen Sarwar.
Until Angela returns all of her patients will be well looked after by both her husband Ralph and Furheen.
We would also like to take this opportunity to welcome Furheen to the practice when she officially starts on the 12th August. Furheen graduated from Glasgow University in 2005 and completed her Vocational training year in East Kilbride, from there moving on to working full time in Govan Health Centre. Since starting a family Furheen is now excited about joining us part-time and having extra time to spend at home.
We will share the news of the new arrival when we have it..
